The Elephant Bet Foundation, true to its values of solidarity and empathy, recently organized a meaningful visit to the female wing of the Viana Penitentiary Facility in Angola. This initiative aimed to provide tangible support to the inmates by offering hygiene products, books, and toys for their children, to brighten their daily lives and those of their loved ones.

During the visit, we had the honor of being accompanied by writer Theresa Nallene, who shared an inspiring moment with the inmates by giving a motivating lecture followed by a book signing session of her new book ‘EU’. This heartfelt exchange provided the inmates with a fresh perspective on life and the opportunities that can still be available to them.
The afternoon continued with a musical session led by Pai Diesel, singer Barba Limpa, and a touching performance by our sister inmates, demonstrating that music and art can play a powerful role in reintegration and the well-being of individuals.
The Elephant Bet Foundation would like to express its gratitude for the warm reception from the inmates and especially thank Superintendent Paula dos Santos for her support. Márcio Cabral, the Foundation's spokesperson, emphasized the importance of this initiative, stating that our mission goes beyond profit. He said: "It’s about empathy, opportunity, and hope. More than a betting house, we are dream makers."

This initiative once again illustrates the Elephant Bet Foundation's commitment to social reintegration efforts, showing that every individual, even after making mistakes, deserves a second chance. The Foundation strongly believes that every human being remains worthy of respect and should have the opportunity to reintegrate into society with hope and dignity.

Together, let's pave the way for a better future, built on solidarity, reintegration, and hope.
